Josh and Molly wed this past Saturday at the beautiful Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, NY. Josh and Molly are both golf enthusiasts and so the country club made a perfect backdrop for their fall wedding.
Molly claims she is the most awkward person to photograph but I was not only able to prove her wrong during their engagement session, but also on her wedding day – she was a beautiful bride. She did great keeping calm and looked so happy throughout her whole wedding day. Josh has a quiet and easy going demeanor about him that I love. He loves Molly well. I could tell just by the way he interacted with her. The two were wonderful to watch and spend the day with.
Molly especially loves fireworks. When asked what the most anticipated moments of the day were going to be for them, Josh responded with “the first dance and the fireworks.” We walked out onto the 18th green about 9pm and got ready for the show. The fireworks were wonderful, but even more so was watching them take it in. Molly was so giddy, she had a hard time keeping still for the photos. But this is something I totally don’t mind because it’s not about my photos, but about Josh and Molly truly enjoying the moments they have planned for so long. I was able to get some sweet shots of them enjoying the fireworks nonetheless.
Josh and Molly, you both are so sweet. You make people feel welcomed and appreciated. I know you will have a wonderful marriage – you have some great marriage legacy in your families but on top of that, you already love each other well. And having a great foundation in place is key to enjoying life together after the wedding. I hope you enjoy reliving your wedding day all over again through these images. I can’t wait to share the rest of your photos with you. Congratulations! Thank you for having me along to celebrate you both and for trusting me with creating the visual memories of your wedding.

Mel and Meaghan tied the knot this past weekend at the beautiful Deerfield Country Club. Meaghan was calm and relaxed as she and her girls got ready. Mel and the guys had such a laid-back, fun energy that made everyone around feel comfortable. They had the absolute perfect wedding day weather too!
There were so many smiles throughout the whole day and everything went to plan – it was a dream. The bridal party was a load of fun (and cooperative – thanks, guys!) and they helped make Mel and Meaghan’s day wonderful. At sunset, we snuck out of the reception to grab some photos of just the two of them. The sky had just started to get that orange glow and we got some fun portraits under the fiery sky.
Mel and Meaghan, you both are wonderful humans. Thank you for inviting me along to celebrate you and for trusting me with your wedding photos. I hope you have a blast honeymooning it up and being husband and wife. Congratulations!

Sean and Lauren invited me to photograph their small, intimate wedding at Letchworth State Park. I was only there for the first look through the speeches, but it was so apparent that their love for one another was authentic. Their friends and family cried throughout the vows that they sweetly wrote themselves. Sean looks at Lauren like she is the most beautiful treasure he has seen and Lauren’s gaze at Sean as she walked down the aisle was so sweet. These two could not have been more joyful and excited to marry one another and it showed.
Sean and Lauren, I wish you the best and I know you will treasure and love one another for a lifetime. Congratulations!
Cory and Kim chose to get married this past Friday at Bristol Harbour for the views and also because Kim is a born and raised Finger Lakes girl. The forecast was calling for storms and they were right. Not only was it 90 degrees outside (gross) but an hour before the outdoor ceremony was to begin, the clouds let loose. 10 minutes before the ceremony, it stopped. So staff quickly dried the chairs and the guests were seated. It drizzled just a bit, but then cleared up with just enough time for them to be married outside. At Bristol Harbour, there is an incredible view of Canandaigua Lake. As their ceremony was taking place, the storms were moving in and down the lake. There was thunder and bolts of lightning in the distance which made for a pretty incredible ceremony. As you can see from the images, there were storms all around in the distance, but that didn’t stop Cory and Kim from smiling and enjoying the moment.
Kim looked incredible. She was magazine ready. Kierstyn from Diamond Expressions Studios did a fantastic job with the girls – they looked amazing. During the pre-ceremony photos it was SO HOT that sweat was running down temples. And yet, you can see from the beginning to end, the hair and makeup withstood the rain and searing temps. It was super impressive.
Cory had such an easy-going attitude all day. He seemed to take in all the weather shenanigans and groom responsibilities and just roll with it. He walked through the day next to his bride with a calm and lighthearted attitude. I loved that.
The best moment for me as the photographer was to discover that after all the storms, the sunset emerged and we got an incredible rainbow during the reception. So of course, I took full advantage of that gorgeous light and backdrop. What a gift!
Cory and Kim, thank you for inviting me along to capture your wedding day – it was absolutely beautiful. You two are amazing and a perfect fit for one another. Go, adventure on, and keep the fire alive in your relationship. I know your families have set a pretty great legacy before you to follow and have no doubt your story is gonna be a great one.

The last time I saw Aaron and Jen it was about 15 degrees outside and we wandered around Nazareth campus taking their engagement photos. Fast forward to this past weekend and they couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for their wedding. It was dreamy and perfect. Two became one on the front lawn of White Springs Manor in Geneva NY overlooking Seneca lake surrounded by 30 guests. It was small, intimate, and wonderful. Aaron looks at Jen like she is his treasure. And it’s no wonder because she is stunning inside and out. She has the kind of smile that makes you smile and it matches her calm, sweet spirit. Aaron is the kind of guy everyone likes – down to earth, comfortable with who he is, looks you in the eye and shows he cares… these two are a perfect match.
After dinner, we walked outside on the beautiful grounds of Belhurst Castle. As we took photos, the sunset kept getting better and better. We headed down to the dock and found the most romantic golden hour light followed by a painted sky sunset that all photographers dream of.
Aaron and Jen, you two are perfect together. I am so honored to have been invited to capture these images for you of your wedding day. I know you have a fun and wonderful marriage ahead of you. I seriously wish you all the best and many more magical sunsets together in your future.

John and Shawn Marie tied the knot Friday afternoon at Becker Farms and it was so sweet. There was so much joy throughout the day as they were surrounded by people who so obviously loved the two of them. Just one look through these pictures and you’ll have no doubt. Not only that, but the two of them share a sincere and pure love for one another. Their vows made all the guests (and maybe even me – I’ll never tell) tear up.
Shawn Marie’s mother suddenly passed away last December and it has been crushing for the family. I never met her, but by getting to know those who loved her, I could tell without a doubt that she was one incredible woman. She was extremely close to Shawn Marie. They did a wonderful job honoring her life and keeping her close throughout the day. From the picture that was carried around, to the bouquet with a piece of her mom’s wedding dress wrapped around it, to the multiple times I not only heard stories about her but also caught Shawn Marie looking upward… she was truly there.
John and Shawn Marie, you both are wonderful people. I so much enjoyed documenting your wedding day and I’m so honored that you invited me to this special, sacred event in your life. I know you both will make it – You share a forever kind of love. Keep the important things the most important and celebrate all the good things that come your way. I know you have and will continue to cling to one another in the hardships as well. I wish you all the best from the depths of my heart.
