Chris and Franziska were married this Saturday at the beautiful Twin Silos in Livonia, NY. Everything went wonderfully and the weather was perfect. It was cloudy all day (great for pictures) but then right when the sun began to set, the clouds cleared giving us a beautiful golden light.
Fran looked amazing. Every detail was thought out and she was cool and calm the whole day. You could tell by listening to the toasts that these two were perfect for each other. Their friends and family joyfully celebrated with them and there were smiles all around.
There were fresh cheese curds for guest favors – brought all the way from Wisconsin the day before. There was no shortage of yard games and people having relaxed fun during the reception. But one of my favorite things was getting to take pictures of Chris and Fran with the old Mercedes that Fran’s parents brought her home from the hospital in when she was born. They had decked it out with beautiful flowers and you could tell that this car was so special to the bride. What a cool thing to be able to have the same car at two incredible life moments – birth and wedding. It was really sweet.
Congratulations to you, Chris and Franziska! I hope your wedding was everything you hoped for. I hope you two cherish each other and grow more in love as the years go by. Thank you for having me document your wonderful day.
Ben and Cara were married at Toad Hill Tree Farm in Middleport this past Saturday and everything was perfect. It was a crisp, sunny fall day and they were surrounded by people who celebrated their relationship with joy and love. I had so much fun spending the day with them, capturing all the best moments. Congratulations, Ben and Cara! Here’s to many more years of together!
My best friend and long-time second shooter recently moved near Pittsburgh, PA. Yes, many tears have been shed… But this past weekend I traveled down to see her and second shoot for her at Jess and Dan’s country-chic wedding! It was so fun to assist her and spend the day getting to know this beautiful couple. Congrats, you guys! The way Dan visibly cherished Jess was so sweet. I could see the love between them was genuine and there was deep mutual respect. I’m so happy for you and was honored to be able to capture some pictures of your special day!
See the whole day!

This last Saturday I got to spend the day with Evan and Jamie celebrating their wedding. It took place at Wingate Farm in Livonia and wow, what a venue! It was so rustic and beautiful – I absolutely loved it. Jamie looked incredible and really put together one amazing day with the help of her friends and family. Congratulations to the newlyweds! I’m so happy for you.
Noelle and Bryan’s wedding was ridiculously adorable. I mean, seriously – her dad losing it while walking her down to a teary-eyed Bryan was so sweet. They had an immense amount of the most beautiful diy decorations I have ever seen. Everyone was so joyful. Then the night ended with a fantastic reception in a big barn where they danced the night away. I loved being a part of this and am so, so happy for you, both. Thank you for giving me the great privilege of being your wedding photographer. You are both so wonderful and I know you’ll have a blast being married.
